Catholic Schools Week (CSW) is a national celebration that highlights the value and mission of Catholic education across the United States.
In 2026, Catholic Schools Week will be celebrated from Sunday, January 25, through Saturday, January 31. Throughout the week, Catholic schools across the country will host special Masses, assemblies, classroom activities, and community events that bring together students, families, parishioners, and neighbors to celebrate the blessings of Catholic education.
We look forward to celebrating with our community!
We joyfully invite our families to join us in celebrating and thanking our parish and parishioners for their faithful support of our school. Through shared worship and prayer, we give thanks for the strong partnership that sustains our mission and strengthens our community in Christ.
9:30 a.m. – School Mass | St. Louis Catholic Church
Our school community will gather in gratitude to worship as one body in Christ. Students are asked to wear their Mass uniforms (PreK3 and PreK4 students may wear their regular school uniforms).
11:30 a.m. – School Mass | St. Louis Catholic Church
This additional Mass provides another opportunity for our school and parish families to come together in thanksgiving and faith. Students are asked to wear their Mass uniforms (PreK3 and PreK4 students may wear their regular school uniforms).
1:30 p.m. – School Mass (Spanish) | St. Louis Catholic Church
We are pleased to offer a Spanish-language Mass as another opportunity for our school and parish families to unite in prayer, welcoming our Spanish-speaking families as we celebrate together.
As part of our Catholic Schools Week celebration, we are proud to host a school-wide Canned Food Drive to support those in need within the Waco community. The drive will run from Tuesday, January 20, through Monday, January 26, and we invite all families to participate by donating non-perishable canned food items only.
Please note that this is a canned food drive. For this collection, dry or packaged foods (including beans, rice, pasta, or boxed items) will not be accepted.
Donations may be dropped off conveniently during morning carline each day. Your generosity will help meet a critical need, as this time of year is often especially challenging for local food pantries.
Canned goods will be picked up on Monday, January 26.
Thank you for helping us live out our mission of faith in action through service to others.
Baby Jesus Scavenger Hunt
On this special day, we celebrate our incredible students and the many ways they enrich our school community.
Ice Cream Sundaes
Our students will enjoy ice cream sundaes during lunch, generously provided by the Parents Association. It’s a sweet way to recognize their hard work, joy, and school spirit.
Intercom Bingo
Let the fun begin. Students across all grade levels will participate in four rounds of bingo played over the intercom, bringing laughter, excitement, and a sense of togetherness across both campuses.
On this special day, we honor the incredible dedication and hard work of our faculty and staff. Through their commitment to academic excellence, faith formation, and the care of each student, they bring our school’s mission to life each day. We are deeply grateful for their tireless efforts, their compassion, and the countless ways they support our students and families, helping to form a strong, faith-filled school community.
Duty-Free Lunch
To show our thanks for all they do, we’re providing a duty-free lunch so our teachers and staff can relax and recharge during their break.
Family Involvement
Families are encouraged to join in expressing their appreciation: Write a heartfelt note or send an email to a teacher or staff member. Share a small token of gratitude to brighten their day.
