hours of community service are completed each year by our high school students.
Demonstrating your faith can take various forms, but serving those in your community is a significant way to do so. Jesus exemplified this by stating that He "came not to be served but to serve" (Matthew 20:28). As part of the Bishop Reicher community, we aim to demonstrate Christ's kindness and magnanimity by serving others while fostering a lifetime of serving the community.
At Bishop Reicher Catholic School, students from Pre-K to 6th grade are formed to develop a spirit of service by participating in grade-appropriate community projects. By doing so, they experience the joy and grace that comes with having a servant's heart. Middle school students are expected to complete at least 10 hours of community service every year, but most of our students go beyond this requirement. On the other hand, high school students must complete 25 hours of community service annually. However, our high school students usually exceed this number, contributing more than 6500 community service hours every year.
