The middle school program at Bishop Reicher offers an environment where 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students can thrive and move toward learning what is true and good. Following the ideas of the classical education model, our instruction during 6th through 8th grade focuses on the second stage of classical education - Logic. In middle school, students will expand their ability to read insightfully, write beautifully, speak articulately, and think rigorously with the classical curriculum designed for students in this stage of their education.
Middle school students will begin participating in our Arts and Anthropology Enrichment Modules. The enrichment modules are three-week classes designed to expose students to different virtues where they will encounter what is excellent and beautiful. Students will take the same Enrichment Modules from 6th-12th grade, and the module will be broadened as the student moves from grade to grade.

Ensuring Students are Set Up for Academic Success
At Bishop Reicher, we ensure that our students excel academically and continuously strive for excellence. So, middle school is a perfect time for our students to begin their partnership with teachers to ensure that they are on the path toward academic success and excellence. During each week, students will have time during the school day to meet with their teachers to go over their grades in FACTS, receive tutoring, take a make-up exam, and receive support from their teachers. This time is also a beautiful opportunity for teachers and students to build upon their relationships with each other.
Service Program
In a Catholic school, students must live their faith by learning to answer the call to serve as Jesus did. Therefore, Bishop Reicher's Middle School Service Program aims to make students more aware of the needs of others and our shared responsibility to help those in need. At the end of their middle school career, our students will have begun to develop a life-long love of serving and giving generously of their time and unique gifts.
Middle school students will perform at least ten service hours to the church, school, community, or individuals in need each year. These hours must be before or after school hours. All of the hours must be supervised and certified by an adult.
