Bishop Reicher is participating in Read Across America the week of March 2 - 6. All of our students will be reading a book of their choice and bringing the book to class to discuss with their classmates. We will end the week with a Literary Parade on Friday, March 6.

Our Lady Cougar advance to the Elite 8 in the 4A Girls Regional Playoffs. They play Lutheran High North Houston on Saturday, February 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Allen Academy, Bryan.

Congratulations to junior Ellie Ward on scoring her 1,000th point in yesterday's (February 18) playoff game against First Baptist Christian Academy in Pasadena. Joining the 1,000 point club is a very elite accomplishment in high school basketball, and Bishop Reicher is extremely proud of Ellie.

Lady Cougars play in their first playoff game on February 18, 2020. They battle First Baptist Christian Academy (District 6 Champions) in Pasadena at First Baptist Christian Academy. Wishing them the best of luck.

Bishop Reicher hosted its 2nd Annual Concert Series on Thursday, February 13. Wade Bowen and Pat Green performed in front of a sold out audience. Friends and supporters showed up to help the Bishop Reicher Booster Club raise money for all the school activities it supports. Special thank you to Wade Bowen (Class of 1996) and Pat Green for putting on an incredible show and to Superintendent Misty Poe and the Office of Catholic Schools for attending this wonderful event and supporting our school.

Congratulations to Will and Titus on achieving 1st Place at the HOT Regional History Fair for their group website. They have qualified now for the state history fair.

The Lady Cougars finished 2nd place in TAPPS 4A District 4. They advance to the playoffs to play First Baptist Christian Academy, Pasadena on February 18. FBCA are the District 6 Champions. The game is scheduled for 6:30 pm at FBCA School Gym. So proud of this team and the coaches. #GrowTheGrowl

Bishop Reicher Mock Trial Team advanced to semi-final round of the Region 12 Texas High School Mock Trial Competition. Senior Bryce Tonkin received an individual award as one of the top two advocates.
